1 (8-10 lb) fully cooked bone-in ham 1/2 cup honey 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup Dijon mustard 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar 1/2 tsp ground cloves 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
Ingredients
01
Preheat oven to 325°F. Place the ham cut side down on a roasting pan lined with foil. Score the surface in a diamond pattern for better glaze absorption.
02
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, vinegar, cloves, and cinnamon. Stir until sugar is fully dissolved.
03
Simmer the glaze for 5–7 minutes, stirring often, until slightly thickened. Remove from heat and set aside to cool a bit before brushing on ham.
04
Brush a generous layer of glaze over the ham, covering all exposed areas. Tent loosely with foil and bake for 1 ½ to 2 hours, basting every 30 minutes.
05
For the last 15 minutes, remove foil and apply a final glaze layer. Increase oven temperature to 400°F and bake until caramelized and sticky.
06
Once baked, remove the ham from the oven and let it rest for 10–15 minutes before slicing. This helps retain its juices and enhances flavor.
07
Slice ham and serve warm with remaining glaze drizzled on top. Perfect for holidays, this dish pairs well with roasted veggies or mashed potatoes.
