Main – 1 lb flank or sirloin steak, thinly sliced – 4 cups broccoli florets – 2 tbsp oil (vegetable or sesame) – 2 cloves garlic, minced Sauce – 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce – 1/4 cup beef broth – 2 tbsp brown sugar – 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional) – 1 tsp sesame oil – 1 tbsp cornstarch
Ingredients

Slice steak thinly against the grain. Toss with 1 tsp soy sauce and 1 tsp cornstarch. Let marinate while prepping other ingredients.

Steam or stir-fry broccoli in 1 tbsp oil until just tender and bright green. Remove from pan and set aside.

Heat remaining oil in the same pan. Cook beef in batches until browned, about 1–2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

Whisk soy sauce, broth, sugar, oyster sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and cornstarch in a bowl. Pour into skillet and cook until thickened.

Return beef and broccoli to skillet. Toss to coat in sauce. Cook 1–2 more minutes. Serve hot over steamed rice or cauliflower rice.
