Easy Microwave Carrot Cake Oatmeal

– ½ cup rolled oats – ¾ cup milk (dairy or non-dairy) – ⅓ cup finely shredded carrots – 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey – ¼ tsp cinnamon – Pinch of nutmeg – Small pinch of salt – 1 tbsp chopped walnuts or pecans – 1 tbsp raisins – Optional: vanilla extract, Greek yogurt, cream cheese

In a microwave-safe bowl, mix rolled oats, shredded carrots, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, maple syrup, and a pinch of salt.
