Orzo pasta Broccoli florets Olive oil Garlic Lemon zest Parmesan cheese Salt Black pepper
Roast the Broccoli – Toss broccoli florets with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Roast at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes, or until crispy and tender.
Cook the Orzo – While the broccoli roasts, cook orzo pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Sauté Garlic – In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add the cooked orzo to the pan and toss to coat.
Combine Broccoli & Orzo – Once the broccoli is roasted, toss it with the orzo, garlic, and a little more olive oil.
Add Flavor – Stir in lemon zest, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper to taste.
Serve & Enjoy – Serve hot as a side dish or light main course. Top with extra Parmesan and a squeeze of lemon juice if desired.
