– 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (sliced) – 1–2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning – 12 oz fettuccine or penne pasta – 2 tablespoons olive oil – 1 red bell pepper (sliced) – 1 yellow bell pepper (sliced) – 3 cloves garlic (minced) – 1 cup heavy cream – ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese – Salt (to taste) – Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Ingredients
01
Boil a large pot of salted water. Cook 12 oz of fettuccine or penne pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside while you prepare the chicken.
02
Cut 2 boneless chicken breasts into strips. Coat evenly with 1–2 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning for rich, spicy flavor in every bite.
03
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the seasoned chicken strips until golden brown and cooked through, about 4–5 minutes.
04
In the same skillet, sauté sliced red and yellow bell peppers and minced garlic for 3–4 minutes until soft and aromatic. Add a pinch of salt.
05
Reduce heat to medium. Pour in 1 cup heavy cream. Stir well and let simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened and heated through.
06
Add ½ cup grated parmesan cheese to the cream sauce. Stir continuously until the cheese melts and the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
07
Return the cooked chicken and pasta to the skillet. Toss everything gently to coat with the creamy Cajun sauce until fully combined.
08
Serve hot with crusty bread or a side salad. This creamy Cajun chicken pasta is perfect for busy weeknights or a satisfying weekend meal.
