– 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened – 1 cup brown sugar, packed – 1/2 cup granulated sugar – 2 large eggs – 1 tsp vanilla extract – 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour – 1 tsp baking soda – 1 tsp ground cinnamon – 1/2 tsp salt – 3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats – 1 cup raisins
Ingredients
01
In a large bowl, beat 1 cup softened butter with brown and white sugar until light and fluffy, about 2–3 minutes.
02
Beat in 2 large eggs, one at a time. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and mix until fully combined for a smooth base.
03
In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually add dry mix to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
04
Stir in 3 cups rolled oats and 1 cup raisins. Mix with a spatula until evenly distributed—don’t overmix for chewy texture.
05
Scoop cookie dough into 1.5-inch balls. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
06
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes, or until edges are golden brown and centers are just set. Don’t overbake!
07
Let cookies cool on the sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a rack. Enjoy warm or store in an airtight container.
