1 lb ground beef ½ cup Italian breadcrumbs 1 egg 2 cups marinara sauce 1½ cups mozzarella cheese ½ cup grated parmesan 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 tsp dried oregano Salt & pepper to taste Fresh basil (optional)

In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into small meatballs.

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Brown the meatballs on all sides until cooked through, about 8–10 minutes. Drain excess fat.

Preheat oven to 375°F. In a baking dish, spread a layer of marinara sauce, followed by the cooked meatballs.

Top meatballs with remaining marinara sauce. Sprinkle with mozzarella and parmesan cheese evenly over the top.

Bake uncovered at 375°F for 20–25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly with golden edges.

Garnish with chopped fresh basil or parsley. Serve hot with pasta, garlic bread, or a fresh green salad for a full meal.

Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave until warmed through.
